Fleur de sel from the Algarve

The Algarve Fior di Sale is a pure, naturally very white salt harvested on the Atlantic coasts of Portugal since the time of the Roman Empire. Its crystals are light and very delicate to the touch since the flakes are still collected by hand as soon as they form on the surface of the salt pan, immediately before the precipitation phase takes place.
