American BBQ Box – BBQ Rub Selection

The Bembo American BBQ Box features three selected BBQ rubs for pork, ribs and chicken. Three balanced spice blends for preparing Pulled Pork, BBQ Ribs and Chicken, perfect for grilling, smoking and low & slow cooking.

Rubs are carefully balanced BBQ seasoning blends applied directly to the meat before cooking. During cooking, they help develop the characteristic flavourful crust known as bark, adding rich aromas and enhancing the flavour of the meat.

The rubs can be applied dry or with a little oil. For best results, allow the meat to rest for at least 30 minutes after applying the seasoning.

Recommended dosage: approximately 10–15 g of rub per kg of meat.

Pork Rub 18 – Rub for Pulled Pork and Pork
Ideal for pork and especially suited to low & slow Pulled Pork. The spice blend helps develop a rich and aromatic bark. Also excellent for seasoning potatoes and side dishes.

Ribs Rub 24 – Rub for BBQ Ribs
Specially developed for pork ribs. Spices, brown sugar and honey caramelise during cooking, helping create the characteristic savoury and slightly sweet crust of BBQ ribs.

Top Chicken Rub 35 – Rub for Chicken
A balanced blend of smoked paprika, spices and slightly sweet notes, designed to enhance chicken without overpowering its natural flavour. Ideal for whole chicken, thighs and wings, both on the grill and in the oven.
