• Juniper Berries (35 g)

Contents of the Botaniche Gin Tonic - Le Essenziale package:

• Star Anise (20 g)
• Orange peels (10 g)
• Cinnamon Sticks (15 g)
• Cardamom (30 g)
• Juniper Berries (30 g)
• Hibiscus flowers (10 g)
• Pink Pepper (25 g)
• Allspice (25 g)
• Ginger in Zeste (40 g)

How to use:

1. Start with 750 ml of neutral alcohol at 40 degrees (NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE, for example vodka).
2. Infuse some juniper berries (8/10 berries). Let the berries macerate for 24 hours in the dark.
3. It's time to choose botanicals: do you prefer a sweeter or more bitter taste? Do you want to enhance citrus or spicy scents? Choose the recipe you prefer, letting yourself be inspired by the gin labels you know or by your personal tastes. The more botanicals you include, the more complex the flavor of the gin will be.
4. Add the chosen botanicals to the vodka together with the juniper and let everything macerate for another 24 hours. After this time, the drink will have taken on an amber color.
5. Filter it to remove residues and bottle your gin. Don't forget to apply the label on which to note the botanicals used! Your personal gin is ready to drink: store it in the dark and serve it chilled!
