Lovage is also called mountain celery. It is a perennial plant belonging to the Apiaceae family. It is native to southern Europe, but is now cultivated in many other regions for its culinary and medicinal properties.

In Mixology : The flavor is very reminiscent of celery but with a delicately bitter aftertaste.
