      Australian Murray River salt is characterized by a particular white color with apricot pink reflections which depends on the carotene of some algae that live in these waters. It is harvested in the Murray Basin, Australia's largest river, by selecting the purest lots. These salt flakes are obtained by introducing saline water from the Murray River basin into the crystallization ponds followed by the natural evaporation phase. It has a very balanced flavor and is perfect on still steaming meat immediately after cooking. Furthermore, thanks to its delicate taste, this Australian pink salt is particularly recommended for all roasts, but also for baked desserts.
