Penja White Pepper owes its qualities not only to a rich and generous volcanic soil but also to the particularity of the waters of the region of origin, which are absolutely natural springs with water coming from the slopes of the volcano. Penja White Peppercorns are manually selected by indigenous women after having been stripped of their skin. This process occurs thanks to numerous washings in large tanks with the pure waters of volcanic springs.
In the Kitchen : The soft and non-impacting flavor makes this pepper ideal for pastas with high gastronomic value such as tagliolini with white truffle, but also for fish (especially sea bass, grouper and salmon), saffron rice and caviar-based appetizers.
