Pink Salt and White Pepper

The Himalayan Pink Salt Crystals selected by Bembo come from the Khewra Mines (in Pakistan), the largest salt mines in the world since the secondary era; the mountain salt crystal is of the quality called Halite and contains almost all the trace elements present in the human body. It is a pure and very delicate food salt with a decidedly different flavor from common kitchen salt: in fact, Himalayan pink salt is naturally low in sodium, a characteristic that allows it to have a softer salinity capable of giving flavor to foods but without covering their original taste and organoleptic characteristics.

In the kitchen it is ideal for preparing all dishes: appetizers, first or second courses based on meat or fish but also with raw or cooked vegetables and also in the preparation of homemade desserts.

White Pepper is obtained by processing the fruits of Piper nigrum , a plant belonging to the Piperaceae family. For the production of white pepper, the berries of Piper nigrum are picked almost ripe (when they appear large and reddish) and are left to macerate in water to cause the external casing to detach. The cleaned grains are then dried and at the end of the processing they appear smaller than those of black pepper and with a much more delicate flavor.

It pairs perfectly with fish-based dishes (very good in first courses with seafood) or white meats. It is also used to flavor sauces, boiled potatoes and pickles. Due to its sweet and delicate aroma, it also lends itself well to original combinations, for example with fruit to create a fresh strawberry dessert or with tofu .

• FEATURES AND STRUCTURE: the Pepper Mill is 21 cm high and has a transparent Thermoset Polymer structure (commonly used for dental use). • ADJUSTABLE: you can adjust the grain size of your pepper by unscrewing or screwing the upper knob as many times as you like: clockwise for a finer pepper (soups, broths, salads, etc.) and counterclockwise for a coarser grain size (BBQ, grill, steaks, boiled meats, etc.).
• RECHARGEABLE: you can recharge your Pepper Mill infinite times. This procedure is particularly simple, just unscrew the upper knob completely and remove the lid from the body. Fill the body of the grinder three-quarters full and replace the lid, then close the knob. Adjust the grain size and you are ready to use it again.
