Blue Salt of Persia Crystals

The Blue Edible Salt of Persia is a natural, rare and precious rock salt extracted from the Salt Mines of Iran. It is a very savory salt with a slight spicy aftertaste. The blue-blue color of Iranian salt crystals depends on the presence of sylvinite, a variant of the sodium crystal lattice. It has an extremely salty, but not persistent taste, and subsequently leaves a pleasant spicy taste in the mouth.
