Ground Blue Salt

Blue Persian edible salt is a natural, rare and precious rock salt extracted from the salt mines of Iran. It is a very savory salt with a light spicy aftertaste. The blue-blue color of Iranian salt crystals depends on the presence of sylvinite, a variant of the sodium crystal lattice. It has an extremely salty, but not persistent, taste and subsequently leaves a pleasant spicy flavor in the mouth.
