Ceylon cinnamon (Sri Lanka) is one of the oldest spices. Used as early as 5,000 BC by the Egyptians, it consists of bark that, after being stripped of its cork, is rolled and dried.

This spice, available in 5cm sticks, can be grated, crushed in a mortar, or used as is to garnish a cocktail, dessert, or cup of tea. It will lend a pleasantly pungent aroma to any context.

Remember to lightly scrape the two ends to release the aroma. Use cinnamon on whipped cream, with a baked apple, or in hot chocolate; it will add a touch of unmistakable originality and warmth, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere all by itself.

No glutamates, anti-thickeners, colorants, or other chemicals. Store this product in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources, to maintain its organoleptic properties. Packaged in a new, light- and oxidation-resistant jar.
