Cascarilla Bark

Cascarilla is a plant native to the Caribbean, its bark contains limonene, the molecule that gives flavor to the essential oil contained in the lemon peel. For this reason, the bitter flavor is very reminiscent of citrus fruit.

In Mixology : Cascarilla has a very pleasant and woody scent, with a distinctly bitter flavor and a very particular floral aftertaste of freesia and lily.
