Copper lid

Each pot, pan, or casserole dish must have a suitable lid. Available diameters range from 16 cm to 32 cm.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Safe to use on gas hobs, electric hobs, and ceramic hobs
• Pots comply with European HACCP regulations
• For first use: wash the pot with mild detergents and dry by hand with a kitchen towel. Then fill the pot halfway with water and bring to a boil: pour out the water and add the food to be cooked without drying the pot. Proceed with cooking according to the methods and times specified in the recipe to be prepared.
• Always use oven mitts when handling the pot to avoid burns.
• Always cook over a moderate flame, never with high or strong flames (copper has high heat conductivity, and using too high a flame is not only unnecessary but would damage the food contained)

MAINTENANCE

• Do not put in the oven, do not wash in the dishwasher.
• Cleaning the exterior: polish with specific products for copper treatment. If traditional techniques are preferred, you can also polish with lemon and salt or vinegar and salt.
• Cleaning the interior: clean with non-abrasive products.
• During cooking, use only wooden utensils to avoid damaging the tinning.
• The possible appearance of halos or stains on the tinning, due to the acidity of certain foods, does not affect the functionality and hygiene of the product.
