Whole Mace

Whole Mace is the outer shell of nutmeg. Mace and nutmeg are the only two spices that are produced from the same plant. The color is bright orange with light shades tending towards red. The flavor and aroma are reminiscent of nutmeg, more delicate, flowery and sweet.

In the Kitchen : It is a very versatile spice, which easily combines with sweet dishes, from cakes and spicy desserts, such as bread pudding and sweet milk, to savory dishes, such as sauces, soups, mashed potatoes and meat-based. It can also be used to prepare drinks and cocktails with an exotic flavour.
