Copper Frying Pan with Handle

Excellent resistance to impact, thermal shock, abrasion, and corrosion. The possibility of periodically re-tinning the interior and polishing the exterior makes this pan virtually eternal. Suitable for all preparations that require precise temperatures and slow cooking, and in general when heat is transferred directly from the container walls. It is also used in pastry making for preparing creams and caramelised sugar, and can also be used for serving at the table, as it enhances the presentation.

USAGE TIPS

• Safe to use on flame, electric hob, and ceramic hob
• Pots comply with European HACCP regulations
• For first use: wash the pot with mild detergents and dry by hand with a kitchen cloth. Then fill the pot halfway with water and bring to a boil: pour out the water and add the food to be cooked without drying the pot. Proceed with cooking according to the methods and times indicated in the recipe
• Always use oven mitts to hold the handle during use to avoid burns
• Always cook over a moderate flame, never with high or strong flames (copper has high heat conductivity and using too high a flame is not only unnecessary but would damage the food contained)

MAINTENANCE

• Do not put in the oven, do not wash in the dishwasher
• Cleaning the exterior: polish with specific products for copper treatment. If you prefer traditional techniques, you can also polish with lemon and salt or vinegar and salt
• Cleaning the interior: clean with non-abrasive products
• When cooking, only use wooden utensils to avoid damaging the tinning
• The eventual appearance of halos or spots on the tinning, due to the acidity of some foods, does not affect the functionality and hygiene of the product.
