Tandoori Masala is an Indian blend of spices, an integral part of the cuisine of countries such as India and Pakistan. This mixture is widely used to marinate meat, fish and vegetables before cooking in a tandoori, a cylindrical clay oven that cooks foods at very high temperatures. This mixture gives dishes a distinctive red-orange color and a rich, spicy flavor.
In the Kitchen : Ideal for white meats (especially chicken) but also in the preparation of spicy yogurt-based sauces. To prepare delicious chicken nuggets, just mix 1 or 2 tablespoons of Tandoori Masala with plain yogurt and leave the chicken pieces to marinate for 2 to 3 hours. Subsequently, they can be skewered and cooked in the oven or on a hot pan.
