Chicken with Paprika

Paprika chicken is a tasty and very inviting dish that combines the tenderness of chicken with the aromatic and slightly spicy strength of paprika . Ingredients for 4 people

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 chicken wings
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 red pepper
  • 200ml chicken broth

How to make paprika chicken in a pan

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into cubes.
  2. Finely slice the onions and mince the garlic.
  3. Cut the red pepper into strips.
  4. In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the chicken wings and cook until they are golden brown on all sides. Remove them from the pan and set them aside.
  6. In the same pan, add the chicken breast cubes and cook until golden brown. Remove them from the pan and set them aside along with the wings.
  7. To the pan, add a little more olive oil if necessary and sauté the onions until translucent.
  8. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  9. Add the red pepper and cook until softened.
  10. Lower the heat to medium-low and add the sweet and hot paprika.
  11. Mix well to mix the spices with the vegetables.
  12. Return the chicken (both breasts and wings) to the pan and add the chicken broth.
  13. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has reduced slightly.
  14. Add the cooking cream, mix well and leave to cook for another 5 minutes.
  15. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  16. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
